Not quite an Anaconda but a big snake nonetheless. Wetlands of Florida’s Everglades are invaded by Burmese pythons numbering in the 150,000s. Due largely to pet owners who dumped them here over the years. They have been found killing all sorts of animals in the area even the alligators. They are often killed when captured as they post a threat to both humans and rare indigenous animals such as the rare Florida Panther.
