The well known English food magazine “Restaurant” has recently published the Top 50 restaurants in the world. Spain’s El Bulli was crowned for the 4th time in a row. And the rest of the Top 10 concludes with English, French,American and Spanish restaurants. Most of the Top 50 are European restaurants (mainly French). From Asia there is only 1 representative from Japan. For some reason there is not a single Chinese restaurant! Including Taiwan, Macau and Hong Kong. Is Chinese food really that bad? The mostly European judges could have been a critical factor. Does make one wonder…
