Total Solar Eclipse
In just under two days China will have a spectacular view of the longest total solar eclipse in two millenniums. The exact time of the solar eclipse will be on the morning of the 22nd of July, between local time 8am to 11am. The expected length of the eclipse will be as long as 6 minutes compared to the average length of just 3 minutes. This rare event is estimated to be viewable to more than 300 million people across China. When the total eclipse occurs the skies will be dark enough for stars to be viewable on the morning sky!
