Building Demolition

Sometime last week an apartment complex situated in Guangdong (China) was successfully demolished by explosives. It is currently the tallest building demolished in this way in Asia. The task to destabilise the main support columns alone cost 55,000 RMB and the whole process was estimated to have cost around 3 million RMB. The apartment complex called the Summit Garden was completed in 1995 but since 1997 it has been left empty. Angry Passengers at Chengdu Airport

The Chengdu airport was forced to close down today due to a fire breaking out with its electrical circuit. The fault created a large disturbance which estimated delayed up to 500 flights. There were a lot of angry customers expecting refunds even going into damaging the airport's properties. Came across a news broadcast of a hotel falling into raging water earlier and after a brief read on the internet it was due to the recent hurricane Morakot in Asia.
